Bank of Palestine Signs Memorandum of Cooperation with the Family Revival Association to Provide Relief Assistance During the Month of Ramadan

Bank of Palestine has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Family Revival Association to implement a relief program aimed at providing complete meals, food parcels, and seasonal items to underprivileged and displaced families in the West Bank and Gaza Strip during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative reflects the Bank’s firm commitment to supporting the most vulnerable groups and strengthening the social protection system in the current economic and humanitarian challenges.

The memorandum was signed at the Bank’s headquarters in Ramallah, in the presence of the General Manager of Bank of Palestine, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Shawa; the President of the Family Revival Association, Ms. Reem Masrouji; the Association’s Director General, Ms. Rawiya Al-Shaarawi; Board Member Ms. Sawsan Al-Amour; Director of the Social Department, Ms. Karam Abu Shawish; as well as several directors and department heads from the Bank.

Mr. Mahmoud Al-Shawa stated that this agreement falls within the Bank’s strategy to reinforce its role as a responsible national institution actively contributing to humanitarian causes, particularly during the month of Ramadan, when the values of solidarity and compassion are most evident. He added that the partnership with the Family Revival Association reflects both parties’ commitment to unifying efforts and complementing roles to ensure that assistance reaches those who deserve it with efficiency and dignity.

Al-Shawa further noted that the campaign will help ease the living burdens of hundreds of families across various governorates in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, affirming the Bank’s pride in participating in humanitarian initiatives that strengthen the resilience of underprivileged families and support their social and economic stability.

For her part, Ms. Masrouji expressed her appreciation for the Bank’s support for vulnerable families, commending its continued role in backing humanitarian and national causes. She emphasized that this Ramadan campaign will provide high-quality food assistance that preserves the dignity of beneficiary families and enhances their ability to overcome current challenges.

In turn, Ms. Al-Shaarawi highlighted the importance of this partnership in expanding the scope of relief services provided by the Association and reaching the largest possible number of underprivileged and displaced families. She stressed that cooperation among national institutions strengthens community solidarity and promotes a culture of organized charitable work.

It is worth noting that Bank of Palestine has launched a wide range of relief and humanitarian interventions during the holy month of Ramadan in partnership with several civil society organizations, including Ata’a Palestine, the Family Revival Association, Dar Al-Tifl, and Taawon Foundation. These efforts aim to support shelters and underprivileged families across various governorates, thereby enhancing the social protection system and ensuring assistance reaches the most vulnerable groups efficiently and sustainably
