Within the ceremonial activities of Jerusalem as the capital of Arab culture for 2009, Mr. Tha'ir Hamayel, Head of Public Relations and Marketing Division, assured that BOP would exclusively sponsor the days of the International Manara Theatrical Festival that will last for two weeks on Al-Qasaba Theatre in Ramallah. 13 groups from Germany, France, Britain, Belgium, Denmark, Morocco, Tunisia, and Palestine participated in the Festival. Mr. Hamayel added that beside the festival two workshops entitled "The Movement and the body" and “voice” would be held. In addition, the Bank honored the artists, Edward Almoalim, Samia Qsmor Bakri, Nadira Omran, Ahmed Abu Slaom.
