In preparation for the Gaza Strip Champions League, BoP distributes football uniforms to 12 teams

Bank of Palestine (BoP) distributed the football team's uniforms in preparation for the Gaza football Premier League, which is fully sponsored by the Bank of Palestine.

Last year, BoP signed an agreement with the Palestinian Football Association to fund the twelve Premier League football clubs in the southern governorates in the Gaza Strip with $120,000. The donation is part of BoP's dedication a to supporting sports initiatives, including football tournaments, women’s football, swimming, horseback riding, and international competitions with Palestinian teams participating.

This contribution is one of several reasons that Bank of Palestine won first place as the largest contributor to Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) projects among Palestinian banks in 2011. BoP has contributed $1.5 million to CSR in 2010 alone, which is equivalent to 5% of the bank’s net profit.
